Whether you’re a new or current student or looking to upskill, reskill, find a career or make a career change, you can find a SkillPointe Scholarship to help achieve your goals.

We fund scholarships for career paths in construction, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, public service, and transportation. Scholarships that are currently open are listed at the top, with other scholarships listed below. If you haven’t already visited the How It Works page, check it out now to learn more about the application process.

Recipient notifications will typically be sent within 4-6 weeks of the deadline for each scholarship.

Scholarship

For individuals of all backgrounds pursuing​ high-demand skilled trades that do not require a four-year degree, in Construction, Industrial/ Manufacturing, Automotive & Mechanical, Energy, and Technology fields.

Open to applicants attending a school or training program in the United States and Canada.

This scholarship covers critical costs such as tuition, tools, credentialing, and transportation.

FUTURE OF ENERGY SkillPointe Scholarship

For individuals pursuing skilled trades at community college, technical or vocational schools, or training centers, with interest in the energy industry.

Priority given to students in or around Pensacola, FL (including AL); Schenectady/Albany, NY; Charleroi, PA; Greenville, SC; or Houston, TX.

SkillPointe Quarterly Scholarship

For individuals of all backgrounds living in any U.S. state who are pursuing training for skilled trades careers that do not require a four-year degree.

Deadlines are March 31, June 30, Sept. 30 and Dec. 31.

 

Applicants are eligible for one scholarship grant of $1,000. 

Applicants remain eligible for selection until graduation or completion of their training program.

For individuals of all backgrounds pursuing​ advanced manufacturing and skilled trades in Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Ohio, and Tennessee. 

This scholarship covers critical costs such as tuition, tools, credentialing, and transportation.

Milesburg, Pennsylvania; and Dallas, Texas.

Norfolk Southern Trades on Track Scholarship

For individuals of all backgrounds pursuing skilled trades with interest in a career pathway related to the

rail industry.

 

Primary focus includes the following states: AL, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, MO, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, WV, Washington, DC.

The Home Depot Foundation Path to Pro Southern California Support Scholarship

For individuals of all backgrounds living in or attending school in Southern California who are pursuing training for construction-related fields that do not require a four-year degree including: Carpentry, Construction Management, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing.

Deadline: Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis until all funds have been disbursed.
