Cecelia H.
Emergency Medical Tech
I love helping people who are sick, but I want to do so much more than I can as a basic EMT. I want to get a critical care certification to further advance my career and get to do more for people. Beyond that, I want to advocate for children, adults, the elderly who need a voice. I want to hold the hand of people who need a friend, give them a smile, and tell them I’m here for them.
Mario A.
HVAC/R
After almost seven years of military service, I found myself exploring new rewarding careers with a bright outlook. I chose HVAC/R. With HVAC/R, I can continue to serve my country in a different way, while at the same time providing for my family. My professional aspirations include working in the industry and later starting my own HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair company after gaining enough experience in the field.

Jessica M.
Software Development
Being a first-generation student from immigrant parents, having a college degree has always been a far unreachable dream. I have always felt doomed to work in a low wage job and to be stuck in the cycle of poverty. I soon realized I am capable of breaking that barrier and that becoming a respectable professional does not require a four-year university. Through my IT training, I will acquire another badge to bring me closer to my goals. I will use this badge to job seek and work hard to develop my skills. I soon hope to exemplify to those facing similar situations as mine that everything is possible through hard work and dedication.
